Carrie: The Musical

"Carrie was such an amazing show to be part of! I'm so glad this was my first entry into media design under the very talented Michael Horejsi. 

For this production, we had one large projector mounted in the catwalks, pointed at the stage. We used masks and layers to build scenes and emphasize what scenic designer Sara Schwartz had already created. We used Isadora to create cues. 

Since this was my first time doing any kind of media design, I didn't realize how much research and time it would take. We recorded video of fake blood pouring down a wall and took photos of the library to use in our cues. It ended up being a lot less 'sitting at a computer' than I expected, and I really enjoyed it."
