Hello! My name is Colby Carpenter, and I'm a Salt Lake City-based Lighting Designer. Currently, I'm pursuing my BFA in Theatre at the University of Utah. I am passionate about the intersection of art and technology and love putting my technical mind and creative eye to work.

I've loved lighting since seeing my first play when I was 12. Since then, I've pushed myself to become a designer who can impact lives the way theatre has impacted mine.

Currently, I'm working as a Board Op for Hale Centre Theatre, an Electrician for Salt Lake Acting Company, and as an ArtsForce Intern for the University of Utah College of Fine Arts.
